Job RoleWe are seeking skilled mechanics who can aid in equipment maintenance of appliances such as ovens, gas ranges/stoves, etc. They will work within our team at UCR, understand instructions from others, and collaborate with their team members.
Key ResponsibilitiesExamining and testing machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.Performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Developing and maintaining close working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning, and Engineering teams.Liaising with Production Supervisors and machine operators about equipment performance.Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment, and instruments.Carrying out routine checks and planned maintenance to retain machine efficiency.Performing fault finding and diagnostics on mobile and fixed plant equipment.Advising users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.RequirementsAQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)3 years of work experienceAbility to handle repairs and maintenance of service equipmentHardworking, positive attitudeAbility to work within a team and independentlyImportant DetailsAustralian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to applyEstimated salary: $80,000
