Skilled Horticultural Worker

About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Horticultural Worker to join our team at DEO NIRMAAN GOLD PTY LTD.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in horticultural production to contribute to our year-round production and take on various tasks related to propagation, cultivation, harvest, and processing of crops.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare growing media and suitable trays, pots, and containers.Undertake propagation, planting, and pruning operations.Prepare and apply pesticide and weedicide to crops.Undertake irrigation, fertigation, and fumigation activities.Maintain soil, hydroponic, plant, treatment, and yield records.Undertake transport and logistics tasks for delivery of sales stock.Operate horticultural machinery and equipment to clear and cultivate land, sow and harvest crops, process, and pack crops.Ensure relevant equipment and machinery are maintained.Requirements:Proven experience in horticultural production, preferably in crop cultivation.Strong knowledge of propagation, pest management, and irrigation systems.Ability to operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment.Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Willingness to work in both indoor facilities and outdoor farm settings.What We Offer:A competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation of 11.5%, working in a leading horticulture company specializing in the cultivation of cucumbers, with a dedication to innovation and sustainable practices.
