Our client, a respected civil contractor in the Australian mining industry, specialises in rehabilitation, construction, and maintenance across the Pilbara region.
Due to business growth, they are seeking experienced Site Supervisors to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a medium-sized company offering the stability of large-scale projects with the flexibility and impact of a smaller team.
THE ROLE As a Site Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets, in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering effective communication and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across all project activities.
Work with subcontractors to meet project quality standards and resolve technical or constructability issues.
Manage civil mining rehabilitation and bulk earthworks projects, ensuring equipment availability and on-site progress.
Optimise production schedules, resource utilisation, and equipment performance.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Proven experience in a leadership role within civil, mining, and bulk earthworks projects.
Experience working on a rehabilitation project is essential.
A Schedule 26 Supervisor Appointment (desirable).
A current Construction White Card (or willing to obtain).
A valid Australian driver's licence.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
