Call Alicia on 0406 199 062 for a confidential chat or apply below.About the companyA privately owned building company operating in the residential construction sector, predominately in South East Queensland.About the roleThis position, reporting to the Project Manager, is responsible for the delivery of construction aspects of the project. This includes the construction of the project to the agreed quality, cost and time constraints, and the provision of a safe and sustainable workplace. They will be responsible for the performance of all staff, sub-contractors and consultants working on the site.They will be results-focused and able to direct and communicate with staff and contractors on site with the aim of achieving a defect-free project.The current team includes a Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Site Manager, and Safety Advisor.Skills & experienceMust have a QBCC Open Supervisor licence (This is due to doing alternative Saturdays when required).Must have multi-story residential experience as well as previous experience with basements.An in-depth understanding of safety principles, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and buildability.Delivering projects to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality.Complying with and upholding company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods of time, lifting materials, and working in various weather conditions.Experience in Procore and Hammertech is beneficial but not mandatory.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Team player that is willing to share knowledge and train junior staff.Must be dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.CultureFamily-oriented, positive, high-quality focus, supportive and accepting team.BenefitsGenerous salary on offer up to $250,000 plus Super.
