Skilled Site Supervisor Required One of Australia's best-known developer/builders is looking to add a new Site Supervisor to their team due to an internal promotion. With a strong history dating back over 40 years, their work has been nationally recognised and awarded by major industry organisations. Our client specialises in medium-density residential projects across Australia with a continuing focus on securing future acquisitions to build on the current portfolio.
The suitable candidate will possess: Minimum 2 years experience working for a Townhouse / Unit builder in QLD Experience running a minimum 10 + projects Trade qualification or strong hands-on experience (2 + years) A genuine passion for excellent customer service and guidance throughout the complete build process Knowledge of QLD building codes and practices Attention to delivering quality homes, on time and with minimum defects Thorough understanding of on-site OH&S requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills Loyal working history Job Role: Liaise with the Construction Manager on design-related issues - pre-construction that may prove problematic to the regular scheduling of site activities Scheduling and coordinating works and communicating timelines with subcontractors Supervision of onsite construction call forwards on scheduling trades and supplies to the site, from initial site cut to handover Oversight of all works associated with Defects Liability Period satisfaction for all clients Dealing with sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal/external customers Involved with all aspects of the supervision of the projects, delivering all new homes to the highest standards, and ensuring the continuous management of safe working practices.
