Come and join us in building the infrastructure our planet needs to achieve a sustainable future.The ProjectThe M80 Ring Road Alliance (comprising ACCIONA, MACA, and AECOM) has been selected to design and construct the M80 Ring Road Completion. The project will deliver a major upgrade of the M80 Ring Road between the M80-Plenty Road interchange and the North East Link tunnel entrance at Watsonia, providing a seamless connection to North East Link. Works include the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be completed in 2028.Key accountabilities for the positionAs an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction.Site supervision and subcontractor management in performance & safety systems.Set up of ITP's DBYD and SWMS.Procuring of materials and coordinating deliveries and works schedules.Able to maintain planning/programming to assist project engineers with 3-4 week look ahead's.Able to read/interpret design plans & drawings.Participate in client/contractor meetings where required.Financial assisting of cost tracking/invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of work.Gain leadership exposure with supporting graduates and cadets.Foster collaborative and effective relationships with a range of internal/external stakeholders.Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental.Support various packages of work not limited to roads, drainage, rail, earthworks, pavements, utilities aligned with your experience and project needs.Skills & Experience RequiredYou will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or similar.You will have a solid foundation of site-based experience working on a range of civil or structural packages supporting a major road or rail project locally.An ability to prioritise your work, problem solve, learn, adapt and continually challenge yourself.Well-developed communication skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.What we offerAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
