We are seeking a skilled Signwriter with a passion for car wrapping to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and applying high-quality graphics and wraps for vehicles, ensuring each project meets our clients' unique specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Confer with clients to discuss their needs and preferences for vehicle wraps and signage.Respond to proposals, sketches, and written instructions to clarify design objectives.Design and create graphics using specialized software tailored for sign-making.Develop custom vehicle art by measuring and calculating appropriate letter sizes and layouts.Prepare vehicle surfaces for application by cleaning, sanding, and priming.Apply background paint using brushes, sprays, and rollers.Apply lettering and graphics using various techniques, ensuring precise alignment and placement.Design and execute custom art for diverse applications, including advanced techniques like gold leaf work.Select and use appropriate materials such as lacquers, varnishes, and specialty paints for various surfaces.Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour and materials.Manage timelines and workflows to ensure projects are completed within budget and deadlines.Travel to client locations for on-site installation, ensuring compliance with design specifications.Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site and handling materials.Conduct final inspections of completed projects to ensure high-quality standards and client satisfaction.Address any client concerns or modifications after installation.EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Experience - At least two years' experience in signwriting, with a strong emphasis on vehicle wrapping preferred.Qualifications - AQF Certificate III (with at least two years of on-the-job training), or AQF Certificate IV; however, in some cases we will consider experience in lieu of formal qualifications.Skills - Proficiency in graphic design software and signmaking technology.
Strong attention to detail and an artistic flair.
Ability to interpret client briefs and work independently or as part of a team.Job Type: Full-time
