PIMS Mining has been contracted by Malabar Resources to provide services at the Maxwell Underground Bord and Pillar Operation located east of Denman and south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Region, New South Wales. PIMS is now seeking an experienced Shift Engineer with a can-do attitude, along with the ability to drive our safety culture, provide continuous improvement, and enhance our productivity programs.

About the RoleReporting to the respective trade coordinator, the successful candidate will carry out a wide range of tasks across project activities, from supervising daily activities of work crews to ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative SHMS requirements, as well as meeting the quality production and environmental requirements of the project.
The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to:
Proven experience in supervising teams of tradespersons;Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation, and Engineering Standards at Maxwell Bord and Pillar Underground Operation;Contribute to maintenance strategies to minimize engineering costs, maximize equipment availability, and meet budget requirements;Possess a strong work ethic with a great attendance record;Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;S1, S2, S3, and G2 qualifications must also be current.Benefits of Working at PIMS GroupWorking at PIMS Group comes with a range of benefits, including a competitive salary package and incentives that recognize your experience, along with salary sacrificing options that provide flexibility and financial advantages to help you achieve your financial goals.
