Casual, working over a 7-daysOverview You will be responsible for the provision of catering, cleaning and laundry services, which will contribute to the highest quality of care to clients, visitors and staff of the Millicent & District Hospital and Sheoak Lodge (aged care Facility). Undertaking a high standard of work within a number of areas of the Health Service, including kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and ward areas, you will assist with the delivery of high quality patient care by ensuring the highest quality of domestic and catering services throughout the organisation. Maintaining a high quality, safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff, you will undertake cleaning of all ward areas and offices, including cleaning and upkeep of hospital equipment. As part of your role you will also undertake rubbish collection, removal and disposal, as well as collection and delivery of linen. You will bring limited experience in a Housekeeping, Cooking/Catering, Kitchen Hand or Laundry Hand role, demonstrating your ability to work in various settings and relate to all levels of staff. With a flexible approach to work and rostering systems, you will be able to work alone or within a team environment, and work within set timeframes. You will be willing to provide assistance and cooperation to other staff, and perform under general direction or work under limited supervision. At all times you will be committed to using discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
