The Opportunity We have an exciting opening for a Service Technician Trades Assistant at our Mackay facility. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining our clients' Sandvik Mining equipment, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.
What will you be doing? Engage in diverse mechanical tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. Manage the logistics of picking up and delivering store components. Support our skilled technicians with equipment repairs, cleaning, and servicing. Maintain meticulous records of parts usage, equipment status, and time logs. Commit to safety and excellence by adhering to all company policies, especially our EHS standards. What you'll bring. You hold a current forklift high-risk work license and a valid driver's license, with hands-on experience in a workshop or engineering facility. Your strong commitment to EHS ensures safety is always your top priority.
