About the role: We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our Derrimut branch sales and service team in Melbourne. This hands-on position is essential for ensuring the timely completion of service projects, providing exceptional product support, and maximising the revenue of our service department. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality repairs and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role may require some travel within Victoria and interstate.

Key Responsibilities Conduct maintenance, repairs, and servicing of both customer and BlastOne rental equipment while managing maintenance schedules and maintaining accurate service records. Initiate and receive communication with customers regarding equipment maintenance and repairs, both in-house and on-site. Provide over-the-phone troubleshooting assistance to customers. Coordinate and attend repair and maintenance work at various job sites. Offer hands-on assistance and demonstrations for the sales team as needed. Manage the check-in/check-out process of rental equipment and prepare it for dispatch. Assist with warehouse operations and coordinate industrial equipment deliveries. Inspect returned rental equipment and complete job cards. Perform basic fabrication and repairs as required. Accurately enter data into our system NetSuite as needed. About You Minimum of 2 years in a similar role with a proven track record. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics being highly desirable. Competence in using maintenance and repair tools. Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. A commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Valid Australian driver's license is required.
