The Service Manager based at Mount Issa plays an important role contributing to supporting the overall success of the team as we continue to build a progressive and inclusive organisation to solve some of the world's water challenges. The Service Manager will lead the team to deliver Xylem's promise of quality, customer satisfaction, and service excellence.
About the Role:
Providing strong leadership to motivated branch service staff
Achieve targets, develop and maximise growth opportunities for Xylem products and services in select markets
Deliver on ANZ strategic business plans to exceed budgeted growth targets
Maintain the facility in line with Xylem policies, procedures, and compliance, including EHS requirements.
Responsible for the region's profit and loss, revenue, and cost budgets
Assist the area sales team in the process of selecting, configuring, pricing, and quoting to maintain Xylem as a market leader in the water industry
Product support to local region ensuring all technical issues are followed up and resolved
Assist in the development and implementation of service training strategy and material to ensure employees have the required skill set to perform repairs and maintenance
Produce monthly reports on business performance
Other duties as required/determined to support the efficient functionality of the branch
About You:
Prior experience as a Service Manager
Tertiary or Trade qualification in the field of Engineering or Construction (Highly desirable)
Great Written and Verbal communication skills
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence change
