Job Scope: We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Service Engineer for our Western Region, based in Perth, Western Australia.
As the key site-based contact for our Customers, the Service Engineer role is critical to providing regular value-adding site visits. You will be responsible for overseeing the product line of KREBS Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, Hose & Rubber (PCV) performance in the field as well as targeting competitor installed base to replace & offer technical solutions with our Teams. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in service solutions and drive the success of our products in the region.
Your responsibilities: Customer-focused service support for all Pumps, Cyclones, Valves, Hoses & Rubber products in the region - routinely monitoring & offering improved performance solutions to Customers. In-depth knowledge of rebuilds, overseeing site installation & routine maintenance of PCV equipment. Targeting competitor installed base, gathering process data & working with technical teams to offer our products showcasing improved performance, lower total ownership costs, better availability & service support. Technical solutions sales through identifying site issues & troubleshooting - willingness to drive business development and build relationships for repeat business. Maintain site-based installation list & monitor performances. Collaborate with the regional sales teams to effectively promote and market our products/services to relevant customers in the region. Work closely with Sales Area Managers, Regional/Global Product Line Management, Capital Sales, and Inside Sales to develop winning proposals. Provide comprehensive training and guidance to customers, sales representatives, and site support. Travel to customer sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, consult on system design, support start-ups, and ensure proper aftermarket support, including warranty/quality issue resolution. Report won/lost opportunities and customer feedback, including market intelligence, competition activities, and suggestions for product design and improvement based on specific customer pain points. Collaborate to support the successful launch of new products/services in the region. Assist with mining sales opportunities in the region. What you bring: Preferred in-depth knowledge and expertise in hydrocyclones, centrifugal slurry pumps, and knife gate valves, with a focus on their use in applications and industries. Capability to provide training and guidance to customers, sales, and field service teams. Willingness to travel to troubleshoot, consult on system design, and ensure aftermarket support. Skilled in analyzing competition, and providing customer feedback. Ability to identify product design improvements and customer pain points. Good interpersonal skills to interface effectively with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with global teams and leadership. Good presentation skills and the ability to present technical training courses to large groups. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with matrixed reporting structures.
