Who are we?Eight Homes is Melbourne's affordable builder.We offer a stylish range of designs ideal for homeowners entering the property market and we pride ourselves on efficiency and simplicity in purchase and building.We pride ourselves in building better lives for not only our clients, but for our staff and the community through our strong leadership, and charitable partnerships which have contributed to our on-going success and recognition as Great Place To Work Certified.We believe that working with us will never be just a job.We offer a dynamic, transparent, and upbeat culture with the added benefit of an exciting workplace environment and friendly employees.We are committed to helping talented people build their careers - there are many opportunities for growth in this business for those who are looking to challenge themselves.What's on offer?The Eight Homes team is looking to employ an enthusiastic a Service & Warranty Technician focused on supporting clients, overseeing trades undertaking maintenance, as well as being hands-on perform painting, tiling, minor electrical and plumbing repairs as required.Within this role your responsibilities would include: Undertake inspections to ensure that all work conforms to legislative and contractual agreements and to 8Homes standards.Engage, coordinate and manage trades during the service and warranty process maintaining communication to track progress of jobs.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties including painting, tiling, minor electrical and plumbing repairs as required.Ensure maintenance works are carried out in a timely manner and to the standard agreed between both parties.Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements.Ensure correct waste disposal techniques are adhered to at all times.Liaise with clients when required to provide exceptional service standards at all times.Ensure client concerns are addressed in a timely manner, escalating any client concerns in the event they are not resolved in the first instance or to client satisfaction.Provide high level customer service to all stakeholders.Who are we looking for?Required Trade qualification and/or experience in home maintenance and repairs with ability to work independently within agreed timeframes Experience in the building and construction industry Strong knowledge of building Standards & Tolerances, BSA's, OHS regulations and QA systems Intermediate computer skills in particular, Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM programs Preferred Trade qualification such as carpentry would be highly desired Experience with Framework and Click Homes Database systems is not essential, but desired What's in it for you?We know that our success and growth is a result of our hard working employees.What we can offer you is a competitive salary, continual development coaching and career progression on top of a dynamic role within a great working environment that will not only challenge, but satisfy.
