As a

Senior Underwriter , you'll:Evaluate insurance applications, medical details and other relevant data to determine risk and make underwriting decisions.Refer appropriate risks to our reinsurer complete with a summary and recommendations.Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation and make recommendations supporting our strategic direction and exceptional member experience.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior underwriters.About youIntegrity, professionalism and a commitment to accuracy and fairness are your hallmarks!
You'll know life insurance inside out, including products, features and regulations.
You're a star at analysing data and assessing risk to be able to make informed decisions.
You have the communication skills to explain complex decisions in a clear and concise way.You have experience as a Senior Underwriter with a focus on risk assessment.You have underwriting experience in the Group Insurance market working directly with members.You can liaise, advise, influence and engage with a range of stakeholders, including external partners, doctors, accounts, and senior management.You'll enjoy coaching and mentoring fellow team members.About usOur 2.3 million members trust us to take care of almost $300 billion in retirement savings.
