Your Role You will be responsible for supporting the development and underwriting of the Construction and Power Generation portfolios to achieve premium growth and profitability within set guidelines. You will provide technical support with underwriting referrals, collaboration and advice to underwriters as well as market facing responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
Support the development of the Construction and Power Generation portfolio business plan, through portfolio performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and risk requiring remediation.
Assisting with monthly management reports to country, regional and COG management and financial forecasts.
Underwriting within each respective state and achieving planned underwriting results for new and existing business
Develop productive and effective relationships with producers, Reinsurers and Reinsurance Brokers to promote Chubb coverages, products and services
Provide professional underwriting practice and service to intermediaries
Your Skills & Experience
Minimum five years' experience Underwriting Construction and/ Power Generation Business
Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals
Successful completion of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent business experience
Broad knowledge of Insurance industry (specifically product) as well as general understanding of other lines
Good profile in the broker market with proven marketing success in developing key broker relationships and achievement of GWP growth
Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to be capable of dealing with all levels of Chubb personnel as well as, in dealing with agents, brokers and clients
Proven analytical skills necessary to judge the desirability of complex or unusual risks within assigned specialised lines
