An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Perpetual Wealth Management as a Senior Trust Manager, Noongar Boodja Trust focusing on ensuring the Noongar Boodja Trust is administered effectively in line with legislative and business guidelines and develop strong relationships with Eligible Noongar Entities, Contributor and Noongar partners.
About the role Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Wealth Management! As a Senior Trust Manager, Noongar Boodja Trust, you will:
Be the primary point of contact, and provide timely and accurate technical support and guidance to the Noongar Relationship Committee, Noongar Advisory Company, Trustee, Investment Committee and Eligible Noongar Entities.
Ensure Noongar Boodja Trust is compliant with legal and business requirements.
Support and mentor Property Manager and Trust Associate Noongar Boodja Trust and oversee the Noongar Land Estate and onboarding and management of land in the trust.
Develop strong and mutually respectful relationships with members of the Noongar Relationship Committee, Noongar Advisory Company, Trustee, Investment Committee, Eligible Noongar Entities and representatives of the WA Government and achieve high levels of internal and external stakeholder satisfaction, including meeting any agreed KPIs.
Ensure Noongar Boodja Trust is managed on a profitable and sound commercial basis.
Oversee key outsourced trust relationships, including accounting, ENE Assessments, Investment Manager, Remuneration Auditor.
About you We're looking for someone with:
Demonstrated leadership and management experience - Minimum of five years' experience in native title services or management experience in a community role, legal or financial services industry role.
Demonstrated ability to work in culturally diverse circumstances – a strong knowledge of the Noongar Community is highly desirable.
Demonstrated strong relationship management capabilities.
A proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail and compliance focus.
Desirable that the candidate has knowledge of law regarding trust administration.
