Position Title: Senior Treasury Accounting LeadDirect Reports: 3 to 5

Role Purpose:The Senior Treasury Accounting Lead is responsible for leading the treasury accounting function within the organization. This role focuses on managing hedge accounting processes and overseeing the administration of securitised trusts. The position is vital for enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards (AASB), and driving leadership within the treasury accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Accounting:- Lead the treasury accounting function, overseeing day-to-day operations related to securitised trusts.- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with AASB standards / AUSIFRS compliance.- Manage monthly hedge accounting activities, including effectiveness calculations and documentation.Team Development:- Mentor and develop a team of treasury accounting professionals.- Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment.Strategic Oversight:- Drive process improvements and innovative practices within the treasury accounting function.- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Experience and Competency:+8 years in Financial Services in Australia.Expertise in hedge accounting and treasury management.Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams.Strong understanding of AASB standards and financial instruments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
