Job Description One of our Supply Chain clients based in the Northern Suburbs is looking to bring on a Senior Test Analyst for a day rate contract.
This is hybrid Melbourne based role, please do not apply if you a not based in Melbourne and are willing to commute the Northen Suburbs.Key Responsibilities:• 5+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance• Relevant tertiary qualifications• ISTQB Certified – Foundation Level• Excellent communication skills• Meticulous attention to detail• Ability to learn quickly• Methodical problem solving skills• Self-motivated, resilient and a collaborative team player with an attitude to get things doneIt would be an advantage to have knowledge / experience with:• Business analysis• Software development• SQL, Javascript• CI/CD tools• Test automation tools including Selenium, UFT or TestComplete• Testing experience with workplace systems including BY(JDA) TMS, SAP and variousMicrosoft enterprise solutions will be highly regardedExperience:• Extensive experience delivering testing on complex enterprise projects, under aggressive timelines,and with multiple stakeholders• Expertise with SAP products in the logistics space, in particular SAP EWM and WMS• Strong experience with the execution of system test activities including automation and assisting thebusiness and users to carry out UAT testing• Strong experience of delivering traceability matrix, test scenarios, test cases and defect lifecycle tofind defects that make an impact• Strong experience and skills in the development of test cases/scripts and reports• Ability to lead and mentor others in testing techniques, methods and systems• Adept in defect management and a proven track record of producing high quality test material from avariety of requirement mediums• Experience in the Logistics industry and/or TransportCompetencies:• Conceptual understanding of important QA tools and principles, including aspects of non-functionaltesting, in order to assess the business value these might offer in that context• Working knowledge of SDLC, Test Development Lifecycle and Waterfall & Iterative Model• Regular attendance and involvement in the QA industry, to keep abreast of the latest technologies,methodologies, challenges, and issues facing QA and testing• An ability to question effectively, think laterally and develop practical test scenarios and plans• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a passion for working in highlycollaborative environments• A strong work ethic and be able to prioritise high workloads and manage time efficiently• Teamwork and diversity, able to work towards common goals in an open and collaborative andinclusive manner• Ability to use analytical thinking by analysing problems, makes sound judgements and developsappropriate test solutions• Set and meet challenging objectives, initiate action and commit to clear outcomesIf you are interested, please apply directly!
