Senior Tendering and Proposals Manager (Grid Stability and HVDC Solutions) Join our Grid Technologies team and provide deep technical knowledge in Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios and advise both our sales organization and customers in capabilities and options on how to use and integrate our products and solutions effectively.
The main products and service portfolios include but are not limited to; HVDC including offshore Access, FACTS including SVCs, STATCOMs, Synchronous Condensers, Power Flow Controllers and Support Services (LTSA's, conditions monitoring etc).
Let's talk about you Your Profile Proficient skills for understanding Grid Stability and HVDC portfolios, coupled with a genuine curiosity for continuous learning in the industry. High-level experience in analysing complex RFQs under time pressure, defining measures and appropriate solutions for the customers to meet the respective criteria. Outstanding Tender and proposal experience in an allied industry for at least 5 years. Strong communication skills with customers in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Region, at different levels ranging from A-level to C-level. Engineering Degree/Diploma / Electrical trade background highly regarded. Project engineering and/or project management and/or design/commissioning experience and/or qualifications also highly regarded. Full rights to work and live in Australia. Valid Australian driving license and willingness to travel locally and internationally as required for the business. What part will you play? Coordinate various bids, analyze the requirements of RFQs, engage collaborators from both local and international partners in developing the solution. Prepare and align all required tendering documents and calculations together with the international team as basis for our sales managers. Align the lead times with factories and involve and manage selected subcontractors during the tendering stage. Support the respective sales team in approaching and serving potential customers best and advise both sales team and customers in capabilities and options on how to use and integrate Siemens Energy products & solutions effectively. Serve sales team and customers as an expert in product application and solution consulting. Be the partner of choice for our customers in consulting them and clarifying important technical constraints which may come up. Accompany our customers and partners to our international factory locations and join international reference visits in any stage of the opportunity development. Join international fairs and conferences as a guest and/or speaker. #J-18808-Ljbffr
