The Senior Technical Program Manager will play a critical role in managing our complex portfolio of DC meter projects for high-power DC fast chargers. This challenging role involves overseeing the development, integration, and certification DC meter solutions. You will possess a strong technical background and a hands-on approach and will be primarily focused on the execution of these complex technical projects.Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the entire portfolio of DC meter projects, ensuring that each department's contributions align with the established timeline and objectives.Technical Expertise: Leverage deep technical knowledge and understanding, often stemming from a technical or engineering background, to guide and oversee the successful execution of DC meter projects.SMART Goal Setting: Define and set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) project goals, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with projects, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.Budget Management: Work with financial teams to ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to support project needs and maximize efficiency.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Tritium's New Product Development, Certification & Test, NPI, Software, Sustaining, and Operations departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration among teams.Project Phase Transition: Facilitate smooth transitions between teams as projects progress through different phases of the product development life cycle, maintaining overall oversight throughout.Clear Communication: Establish and maintain clear communication channels and regular meetings among all teams involved in the projects, fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment.Role Clarification: Ensure that each team understands its specific and crucial role within the project, from evaluation and development to testing, certification, and implementation.Project Schedule Management: Assist the engineering teams to ensure that all project schedules are defined, communicated, tracked, and delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Regular Meetings: Arrange regular check-in meetings to ensure collaboration among the various engineering teams.Project Tracking & Reporting: Keep projects on track and report and escalate to management as needed.Stakeholder Relations: Maintain a professional relationship with all internal and external key stakeholders.Documentation: Develop and maintain project documentation.About YouBachelor's or higher degree in engineering or a related technical field.Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management or support.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar technical leadership role.Strong understanding of energy metering and DC fast charging systems.Solid business writing and presentation skills in English.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.Efficient and effective time management skills.A proven ability to effectively identify and solve problems.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.What's on offerOur people are our most important asset.
