MBM is a national independent Australian owned property consultancy specialising in Quantity Surveying, PPP, FM and Asset Management Advisory services, Tax Depreciation and Asset and Building Consulting.We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor Tax to join our team at the Sydney office. This role is pivotal in supporting our team with the delivery of comprehensive property consultancy services, contributing to our continued growth and success.
At Senior Tax Quantity Surveyor level your role will include but not be limited to:
Ensuring engagements are undertaken efficiently and in budgetMaking sure that MBM's work is carried out in accordance with our Quality Assurance requirementsOverseeing the quality of the work undertaken by junior staffRepresenting and promoting MBM in the marketAssisting with Business Development activities including preparing fee proposalsQualifications and Skills: Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency.Education: Hold a degree in Construction Management or a related field.Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying roles, particularly in capital allowances (tax depreciation) or similar.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capable of using CostX and Buildsoft.Accreditation: AIQS/MRICS qualified or working towards it is beneficial but not essential.
