Your new role
You will be reporting to the company directors and working within a wider team of 10+ staff members. This role will involve a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents. Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients. Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide insights to help clients make informed business decisions. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and personalised service. Oversee and mentor less experienced team members, including reviewing jobs. Liaise with the ATO and other government bodies. What you'll need to succeed
This is a client-facing role, and the successful candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the confidence to work in a client-facing environment. Experience in a similar role is important, though our client will consider different backgrounds. CPA/CA or studying towards this is essential, as well as high-level competency with business services, accounting, tax, SMSFs, companies, trusts, partnerships, and reasonably complex groups. Full working rights are essential, as well as having a friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking nature.
