About the role:
Lead a growing team in the day-to-day delivery of services.
As the Senior Tax Accountant/Client Manager, you will be instrumental in providing a variety of corporate tax compliance and financial accounting services to our diverse client base.
You will also be responsible for managing and developing your portfolio of clients and ensuring clients are serviced to a standard that exceeds their expectations.
Using your technical expertise, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Review of junior and intermediate team members' work
Provide support and training for junior Accountants
Assist with workflow management within the team
Ensure client work is completed within time allocation
Achieve individual and team monthly billing targets
Ensure the integrity of ATO lodgment program
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for High-Net-Worth Clients
Tax planning ability for High-Net-Worth Clients
Developing relationships with existing and new clients to understand what we can help them with
Identifying potential opportunities for both new and existing clients
Identifying, researching and solving complex tax issues & being able to communicate that advice to partners/clients
Identifying and implementing new technologies that can streamline workflow and improve our client's businesses
About you:
CA or CPA qualification or near completion
A minimum 2-year public practice experience in Australia
Outstanding leadership and communication skills
Extensive experience with the preparation and lodgment of income tax, FBT returns, and other tax matters
Extensive experience with preparation, lodgment, and review of BAS and IAS
Experience and proficiency with Xero (including practice manager), MYOB, and QuickBooks.
Proficient skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ability to communicate with Chinese in both speaking and writing would be preferrable
Strong time and workflow management skills
Strong desire to succeed and achieve goals both as a team and individually.
