This is a fabulous opportunity for a senior manager level tax and advisory accountant with a flare for operations to join a progressive modern firm in the most senior position under the partners.
Equity is on the table for the right candidate in the near to mid term.
This wonderful boutique accounting firm is located on the Northside of Brisbane and prides itself on having a positive culture and working environment.
Your duties will involve:
Operational:
Running the weekly accounting team meeting utilising modern software such as Karbon Insights for troubleshooting and projecting.
Conducting team reviews and liaising with managers on improvement strategies per individual.
Improve and support the administration function - identify and oversee practice and process improvement such as template quarterly advisory meetings, standardising Fathom templates, and workpaper efficiency projects.
Monitoring firm-wide metrics including WIP/productivity targets.
Special project work and firm-related activities.
Manage an existing portfolio of clients (around $200K).
Developing relationships with new clients monthly.
High-level transactional advisory work such as CGT concessions - brokerage and structuring/restructuring.
Karbon email/CRM/workflow system.
Ignition, NowInfinity.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous management and operational experience.
Have worked in an Australian accounting firm.
Be motivated and ambitious.
Enjoy a wonderfully supportive culture.
Work 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.
Have flexible hours with an early start and finish if desired.
Be highly supportive of working parents with young families.
Join a stable organisation with very low staff turnover.
Have the opportunity for equity if interested.
