Description: The Systems Engineer will be a crucial member of our engineering team, bringing in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, robotics, and embedded software development. This role requires a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in designing, developing, and troubleshooting hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in applying their electrical and robotics expertise to enhance our production processes and product reliability.
Responsibilities: Support the production team by providing expert guidance on the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of UAS electrical systems. Develop and implement embedded software solutions to enhance system performance and reliability. Conduct thorough analysis of hardware failures to determine root causes and develop effective solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical and software components. Participate in the design and review of new electrical systems and components for UAS projects, emphasizing innovation and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date documentation of system designs, specifications, and troubleshooting guides. Provide technical support and training to production staff, enhancing team knowledge and capabilities in handling electrical and robotic systems. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in electrical engineering, robotics, and embedded systems to drive continuous improvement within the company. Essential Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in electrical engineering, robotics, and embedded software development. Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in debugging and analyzing hardware systems. Proficiency in embedded systems programming and experience with microcontrollers and sensor integration. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development. Preferred experience with UAS or in a highly technical, innovation-driven industry.
