Senior Systems Developer

The Senior Systems Developer key responsibilities are:Liaise with product vendors and clients to identify and resolve complex application issues and to identify beneficial changes.Perform a lead role in activities relating to the design, development, implementation, investigation, and ongoing support of information sharing and information integration solutions to meet the strategic business needs of IS and its client agencies.Maintain and develop all required documentation, including design documents, standards, processes and supporting procedures.Lead the design and build of information sharing and information integration solutions which meet information sharing, security, and legislative requirements.Monitor recent industry developments and trends, including liaising with external professional bodies and tertiary institutions, to enable the implementation of best practice information technology.Provide high level technical expertise, guidance, assistance and advice to system development teams and less experienced colleagues regarding the analysis, design, planning and delivery of information sharing and integration solutions.Adoption of Agile and DevSecOps cultural practices and methodologies ensuring best practice in supporting cloud environments.Be available to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
