You may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentation or user stories.As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements. This includes designing, analysing, and documenting software systems to meet business expectations. You will also be responsible for writing functional specifications from the business requirements.ResponsibilitiesKey duties may include, but are not limited to:Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirementsCreate solution designs and implement solutions to meet business needsCreate and maintain solution documentsSupport daily operations and monitor the performance of business solutionsAdhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvementPerform detailed technical application assessments considering feasibility, resource effort, risks, and benefitsConduct testing activities such as test planning, execution coverage reviews, and defect managementCollaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems, and ensure effective and timely implementation of projectsUndertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design, and testing documentsReview research, process models, and documentation of other staff, providing guidance and feedbackResolve or escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutionsPerform cost analysis activities as requiredManage the life cycle of changes and improvements to the systemManage a team to increase performance and engagement through:CoachingCapability developmentPerformance managementHealth and well-being supportSet priorities, manage resources, and assist with the development of work plansExercise delegations in line with legislation and guidelines as requiredMinimum RequirementsDemonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in a large-scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.You will haveDemonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in a large-scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.Additional InformationDue to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only.
