For the right candidate, this is an amazing opportunity to work with one of Australia's leading professional engineering firms in an environment that encourages collaboration, communication, and innovation.We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in the Melbourne office.Your Main ResponsibilitiesApply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.Preparation of client reports.Monitor projects for fee variations.Liaise with engineers and drafters to enable preparation of documentation.Manage the design team of engineers and drafters, including allocation of resources and checking of work for small projects (where required).Develop and maintain relationships with clients.Contribute to the overall management and profitability of projects.Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature.Develop the ability to scheme up small to medium-sized projects.Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium, and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling, and meeting deadlines and budgets.Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies – e.g., WHS practices and Quality Assurance.About YouMember of Engineers Australia.At least 5 years' experience in engineering.Thorough understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately.Problem-solving/analytical skills.Excellent communication and organisation skills.Demonstrated time management skills.Willingness and ability to advance own career including remaining up to date with advancements in discipline-related engineering methodologies.The CompanyTTW employs over 400 staff across six offices in Australia and Asia.
