We are looking for Senior Structural Drafters to join our team in the Sydney office!
Your Main Responsibilities Manage drafting on large projects autonomously and lead junior drafters within the project team. Manage small projects autonomously where no Lead Engineer is allocated. Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required. Act as the first point of contact on projects and answer queries from others. Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems. Understand, assess, and initiate suitable solutions to problems. Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team. Review work of other drafters including drawings and transmittals, to ensure compliance with relevant standards and Quality Assurance procedures. About You Strong understanding and working knowledge of Revit. At least 8 years' experience in drafting. Relevant TAFE qualifications and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years local experience. General understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards. Ability to provide technical support to other drafters. Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, on budget to client requirements. Ability to competently liaise with clients, architects, and builders.
