Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Public Health Physician) - CAIRNS Location: Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service

Remuneration: Up to $497,941 p.a. (L25 – L27) or up to $455,624 p.a. (L18 – L24), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements.
Position Type: Permanent Full-time (temporary & part-time appointments may be considered)
Purpose of the Role: As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Public Health Medical Officer, you will be a valuable and valued team member. You will work with the Director of the Tropical Public Health Service to ensure the health of the population and prevention of disease and illness in the community, including providing the highest standard of care delivered safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Your Opportunity: We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Public Health Medical Officer to facilitate the delivery of high-quality care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
