This is a hybrid role, combining local team leadership along with delivery of own activities as part of the APAC team under OneIT.

What you'll do: Job Specific: Design and develop automated solutions to manual business processes Take ownership of projects from start to finish including planning, designing, testing, deploying and documenting Work in collaboration with the business to extend the capabilities of existing applications Present and recommend solution options for user requirements Streamline development procedures to increase team productivity Team leadership Responsible for looking after the general and day-to-day team leadership aspects of the Enterprise Applications team, including team morale and motivation.
Manage key performance areas agreed with team members.
Maintain development standards in accordance with WSP policies and industry best-practice Wellbeing: Read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual Ensure emergency procedures are understood and followed Contribute on an ongoing basis to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for yourself and for those working with you or in your close vicinity About You Experience, skills and organisational knowledge: NET Framework, C#, VB.Net, REST API, JQuery, SOAP services Azure related technologies: Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, API Apps, Web Jobs Jira and Confluence configuration and management SQL Server Database Engine, Transact –SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Linked Servers, Triggers, and Indexes SQL Server Integration Services Integration with 3rd Party systems Azure DevOps Azure Certifications will be a plus Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodology Good written and verbal communication skills Experience managing the workload and performance of others - Team of 5 (In Australia and India) Ability to work without supervision; effective time management and strong organisational skills Good analytical skills and attention to detail Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable): Tertiary level qualification in Computer Science or similar MUST have extensive experience in a software development or Enterprise Applications support role and experience within an IT or professional services environment.
