Job Description
How will I help?You are a passionate Engineer/Consultant with Appian Lead Developer certification and have 8+ years of experience in Appian Designing. You have extensive experience in building workflow applications including Case management, BPM and workflow, with focus on automating end to end business processes. You have experience in integrating with external services through API, writing re-usable custom components and exposing Appian workflows capabilities as API(s).
What you will be doing:

Designing and implementing Workflow Solutions in Appian.
Designing and building POC(s) for new capabilities and prove hypothesis.
Work closely with Product Owner/s, Architects, and delivery teams to build systems that drive Westpac towards its strategic platform vision.
Perform discovery and estimations for Feature hypothesis.
Knowledge transfer throughout the organization via participation in community of Practices, appropriate documentation and internal presentations establishing thought leadership and capability excellence on Westpac's platform.
Lead a team of designers.

What do I need?

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
Profound knowledge on Appian integrating with any external cloud/on-premise systems.
Appian Level 3 Certified.
Programming Language - Java, SQL.
Scaled Agile delivery experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in API engineering including OpenAPI and Swagger.
CICD Automations - Chef, Jenkins, Ansible.
Experience in Kubernetes based container orchestration.
Domain expertise in finance, credit risk, fraud, and/or marketing.
