Baseline security clearance required ACT, NSW, QLD, VIC - Hybrid / flexible working arrangements Our client, a Federal Government Department who manage biosecurity risks to Australia to protect our multi-billion dollar agricultural industries and our way of life, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect specialising in digital identity and identity and access management to join their team.
Key duties and responsibilities Work alongside a Lead Architect and Technical Lead who collectively are responsible for the Identity and Access Management ecosystem for external customers, driving the IAM program to modernise application authentication, authorisation and security capabilities. Implement design, development and deliver Identity Governance solutions & contribute to enterprise architecture, product roadmaps, standards and applying industry best practice. Drive the IAM platform & solution deployment process and best practices as well as represent the department in whole of government committees, working groups, programs, design, data standards and implementation of the relevant standards and legislation (for example Digital Service Standards, Digital Identity Act 2024 and ISM). Criteria Demonstrated experience in similar roles working with application teams to implement enterprise IAM solutions for large and complex organisations. Demonstrated experience working within / as part of the Australian Government Digital Identity System, Digital Service Standards, Information Security Manual, Essential Eight, Privacy and the Digital Identity Act. Strong experience in driving engagement and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders within the Identity and Access Management domain, and also with key business representatives and non-technical audiences.
