This position is located in: Kensington L5 Full time fixed term role for 12 months Hybrid work environment (work from home and in office) Collaborative team environment UNSW College is a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of New South Wales (UNSW). We're looking for an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer (Integration) to join our dynamic UNSW College IT Team.
We are seeking a high performing candidate who has experience working in a similar role. You will have experience in designing and building Azure cloud application integration solutions based on provided business requirements.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in the cloud integration domain, overseeing the execution and operation of cloud integration.
You will be responsible for Integration Solution and Architectural Design, Development and Implementation, Data Transformation, Security and Compliance, Monitoring and Reporting, and Documentation for UNSW College's current and future IT integration solutions, platforms, and services.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Analysing business requirements and architecting integration solutions Writing code, configuring services, and building connectors and APIs to facilitate seamless data and application integration between various systems, both on-premises and in the cloud Ensuring data consistency and compatibility by transforming and mapping data between different formats and systems Implementing security measures and compliance standards to protect sensitive data during integration processes, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring Setting up monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the health and performance of integration processes, providing insights and alerts for proactive problem resolution The successful applicant will have (but not limited to): Relevant IT qualifications and/or Microsoft Azure certifications Demonstrated experience in building cloud integrations using Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grid, and Azure SQL Database Demonstrated experience in performing ETL from various data sources using Azure Data Factory Experience with GitHub and Visual Studio Code Experience with security best practices Excellent communication, consultation, and presentation skills A position description is available in the link below.
