About the role?
With the continued growth of our construction pipeline, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Site Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex custom build projects and minor civil works while ensuring compliance with safety standards and timelines. Acting as the second-in-command (2IC) to the Construction Manager, this role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a focus on safety and quality.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
Managing complex custom build projects. Ensuring compliance with WH&S regulations and achieving safety inspection targets. Providing technical guidance and support to on-site teams. Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Overseeing the timely delivery of projects within budget. Supporting the Construction Manager in day-to-day operations. What are we looking for?
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
A current QBCC Supervisors Licence and a trade qualification in Carpentry. Proven experience in managing complex construction projects, including custom builds and minor civil works. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide teams and resolve on-site issues. In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with stakeholders. Experience using construction management software such as Onsite Companion. What's in it for you?
