Senior Security Engineer

Protect IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities by designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures.

Tasks Security Engineering hands-on experience & skills across multi-vendor, multi-domain enterprise security controls – Mandatory Advanced Core Networking experience & skills required to troubleshoot, configure & maintain enterprise security controls - Mandatory Sound knowledge, skills & experience across enterprise security architecture.
This involves choosing appropriate security technologies and configuring them effectively - Mandatory Sound knowledge, skills & experience across enterprise OT / SCADA related security firewalls, IPS & detection controls – Good to have Advanced skills & experience across VPN technologies - Mandatory Develop and maintain security tools and processes to automate security tasks and improve security resilience - Mandatory Next Gen Firewalls technical expertise & advanced skills - Mandatory Email Security gateway technical expertise & advanced skills - Good to have Cloud Internet Security gateway advanced knowledge, skills, and experience - Mandatory Next Gen Firewall advanced security modules (IPS, DLP, Anti Malware, SSL inspection, Application control) advanced knowledge, skills & experience - Mandatory Enterprise SIEM platform advanced technical skills for incident response & fine tuning of platform based on threats - Mandatory Good scripting skills across SIEM platform to translate threats into writing new use case-based alerts - Desired Advanced Cloud architecture skills and experience - Mandatory Advanced Cloud security controls (native & third party) experience & skills - Mandatory Advanced attack surface management & hands-on implementation of necessary security controls for threat alleviation - Desired Sound knowledge of Vulnerability assessment methods based on Risk Appetite (as directed by the Head of Cyber Security) - Mandatory Advanced skills, knowledge & hands-on experience on enterprise vulnerability assessment tools - Mandatory Advanced skills & experience on enterprise automated patching solutions including basic scripting skills - Good to have Sound knowledge of log management & troubleshooting incidents based on analytics of logs, configs & artifacts - Mandatory Conduct User Access Reviews (UARs) leveraging stakeholder engagement Sound knowledge of Linux operating systems and experience in patching or installing Linux OS Basic Linux scripting skills Team player with flexibility to work extra hours (including weekends when necessary) Ability to learn new security engineering concepts quickly as required Requirements Hands-on experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting & maintaining (patching) next gen firewalls Hands-on experience implementing changes on Next Gen Firewalls Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning IPS / IDS Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Anti Malware solutions Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning DLP solutions Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning SSL inspection functions Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning OT / SCADA security controls Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning SIEM platform Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Email security Gateways Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning VPN gateways Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Vulnerability Assessment Tools Hands-on experience implementing, configuring & fine-tuning Cloud-based native & third-party security controls Experience patching Enterprise Next Gen Firewalls in a high-availability mode (Critical Function & Requirement) Industry security certificates related to the above technologies (e.g., CCSA, CCNA, Firewall certs, Cloud security certs) will be preferred, along with relevant experience.
