What role will you play?
The mission of the CTIR team is to enable Macquarie to operate safely within a challenging digital environment by detecting, investigating and responding to advanced cyber threats. As a Senior Security Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in understanding how our teams work and translating that into automation and orchestration workflows, providing our teams with deeper understanding of the threat landscape.
What you offer
5+ years of python development and system integration experience, preferably supporting cyber security or security adjacent teams.
SaaS integration experience is a plus.
Experience with working with global agile teams and leading junior engineers.
Experience with fully automated build processes and CI/CD workflows.
Passionate about solving cyber security challenges through automation.
Experience working directly with customers to understand how they operate and translate manual work processes into automated workflows.
Excellent listening and influencing skills, and the ability to develop and maintain good relationships between a complex set of global stakeholders.
Any Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR) platform experience, with a preference for Swimlane or Splunk SOAR.
Exposure to Amazon AWS and Kubernetes will be preferred.
