Senior Safety Wellbeing and Return to Work ConsultantWe are currently seeking a Senior Safety Wellbeing and Return to Work Consultant to join our team as a 0.6 FTE for a duration of 12 months.Department: The Department of Treasury and Finance is the lead agency for economic, social and financial policy outcomes. We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia.About the role: As the Senior Safety Wellbeing & Return to Work Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating Safety and Wellbeing system elements; and overflow Return to Work services for DTF. You will deliver outcomes through applying a business partnering approach and work with branch managers, Safety & Wellbeing contacts, HR Business Partners, and staff to ensure DTF meet their WHS and Return to Work legislated obligations. You will also liaise with Work Injury Services staff, unions and management in relation to claims progress, rehabilitation, RTW plans and investigations.What you will need to succeed:Sound organisational and time management skills with a motivation to lead safety wellbeing and process improvements.Ability to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships and to liaise effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Significant experience in coordinating, delivering and reviewing WHS and RTW system programs and projects.Experience in preparing and delivering sensitive information and advice to a range of audiences with honesty and integrity.Significant experience coordinating, monitoring and evaluating RTW claims including liaising with service providers, claims managers, management, staff and in relation to investigations, claims progress, rehabilitation and RTW plans.Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), Return to Work Act 2014, as well as other related legislation, policies and procedures.Remuneration / Classification: ASO6: $98,478 p.a. - $104,165 p.a.
