This hands-on role will actively lead and ensure ongoing compliance with statutory obligations whilst mitigating risk.As a Senior Safety Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor, and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across the contract as well as be responsible for Zero Harm performance monitoring, data analysis, audit processes and guide incident investigations. This dynamic role will have a mix of exposure to site-based and office work with a focus on bringing people together to ensure we achieve our Zero Harm objectives whilst contributing to the innovation of the business. This position will require the successful candidate to work both day shift and night shift.ABOUT YOUExposure in the Road or Civil Maintenance and Mechanical or Electrical sectors will be highly regarded as will the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with both operational and management personnel to achieve best zero harm outcomes.Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety advantageous.ICAM Lead investigation (desirable).Quality/Safety Lead internal Auditor (desirable).Demonstrate knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement Zero Harm policies and procedures and ensure compliance.Demonstrated ability to develop Zero Harm improvement plans to drive and promote proactive safety awareness programs.Ability to think strategically, considering both corporate and local objectives/drivers.Ability to conduct audits; investigations of safety issues and assist in developing improvement plans based on findings.Prior experience with managing return to work programs in consultation with line management; liaison with Injury Management Team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at various business levels.Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation.To apply for these great opportunities, please click on "Apply" and submit your application.
