Senior Researcher in Sustainable Agriculture-Level C Job no: 515133 Work type: Fixed term - Full-time Campus: Adelaide Categories: Level C, Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology Level C (135,388- $155,696) per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies 2x Fixed term position for 5 years with potential opportunity for conversion to a continuing position The Senior Internal Contract-Funded Researchers in Sustainable Agriculture will lead the development of new agricultural initiatives that will contribute to the University maintaining and further growing its global leadership in this research domain. Research outputs will have national and international impact that are both scientific and practical and be of scope and scale that ensures trans-disciplinary collaboration and significant industry/government engagement. The appointees will also encourage an environment of creativity and innovation in the Faculty and engage with the broader academic and professional community to promote and enhance the national and international profile of the University. To be successful at Level C you will need: An outstanding national record of research distinction and impact in agriculture, with an emphasis on having delivered outcomes leading to resilience and/or enhanced sustainability measures. Evidence of an inspirational leadership style that promotes a culture of engagement, collaboration, commitment and exceptional performance. Evidence of contributions in developing research programs of significant scope and scale. Demonstrated ability to secure research investment from national/international competitive agencies. Demonstrated ability to forge meaningful external relationships with relevant industry stakeholders and professional bodies. Evidence of excellence in research training at the postgraduate level. Excellent personal and interpersonal skills and capacity to work effectively internally across the University community.
