Role Description : As a Senior Remedial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing remediation strategies. You will lead projects from conception to completion.
A comprehensive background in construction and a deep understanding of building materials, structural elements and hydraulic systems as well as some contracting experience will be beneficial.
Responsibilities : Conducting thorough site assessments and investigations. Designing remediation plans and engineering solutions. Overseeing the implementation of remedial actions, ensuring compliance. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and drafters. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff. Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Conducting quality assurance and control reviews to maintain the highest standards of performance and safety. Prepare high-quality reports. Qualifications : Bachelor of Engineering Civil / Structural or Diploma of Building and Construction (or similar). Minimum 6 years' remedial and / or structural engineering experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects. Strong understanding of regulations and building codes. Strong technical knowledge of materials, construction methods, and structural analysis. Demonstrated experience in report writing. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player. Professional engineering license or ability to obtain certification to sign off on projects.
