As a Senior Protection and Control Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of their operational assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Management: Prepare life cycle cost models, maintain documentation, and oversee asset management activities in line with company procedures.
Asset Integrity: Ensure compliance with regulations, lead technical investigations, and support asset reliability functions.
Asset Performance: Monitor and optimize asset performance using SCADA and meter data, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Asset Development: Contribute to asset commissioning and tender document reviews for new developments.
Compliance & Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, lead technical compliance programs, and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in SCADA/Communications and Protection within industrial facilities, ideally in renewable energy or power stations.
Strong knowledge of generator protection systems and asset management principles.
Project management and risk management skills are essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
