Branch: Program KaartdijinDivision: SchoolsSalary: Level 6, $110,309 - $121,569 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing January 2025 up until April 2026.Program Kaartdijin has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SIS) and include additional information capture and reportability. The Program focuses on providing short term solutions as well as a longer-term solution that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large. The Program vision is to provide a contemporary administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.The new Kaartdijin Solution will replace the SISClassic suite of applications currently being used in 800+ schools throughout Western Australia. The Department has contracted TechnologyOne as the provider of the core finance functionalities and Compass Education as the provider of the billing, student administration and school administration functionalities for schools.The Program values are:Integrity in all we doOpen and transparent communicationCollaborative approach – Shared goals and objectivesCommitment and CooperationValue all contributionsExceptional customer serviceThe RoleProgram Kaartdijin is seeking highly dedicated and motivated Senior Project Officer – Online Learning to join the Training team.The Training and Support workstream within Program Kaartdijin has been established to support school staff transitioning from the current SISClassic suite of applications to the new Kaartdijin Solution. The approach will involve targeted professional learning sessions, including face-to-face training, video tutorials, live WebEx sessions, and eLearning modules.As the Senior Project Officer – Online Learning, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the design, development, monitoring, and distribution of digital resources for Program Kaartdijin. In this role, you will provide specialist support to the Training and Support workstream, developing resources to support the deployment of the Kaartdijin Solution while establishing sustainable strategies and procedures for digital resource design and distribution. You will work independently and within a team to create digital materials for school leaders and staff.
