Your typical day as a Senior Project Officer may include: Planning, drafting, and reviewing the information sharing agreements or MOUs to acquire third party data to support Queensland Revenue Office's business objectives.Collaborating and communicating with key stakeholders, including business areas within Queensland Revenue Office and third party data providers from external agencies.Drafting high level Briefing Notes to senior executives and other correspondence to internal and external key stakeholders.Providing support to Business Intelligence Manager and Principal Analyst in activities and enquiries relating to data acquisition and management.Identifying areas to optimise information sharing processes, implementing improvements, assessing their effectiveness, and making recommendations to leaders.You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the preparation of information sharing documents in relation to relevant privacy provisions to enable QRO to meet its business objectives.Executing packages of information sharing project work and using a project management approach to see through the completion of information sharing projects.Preparing briefings, submissions, reports, and correspondence.Consulting, negotiating, and coordinating the gathering of requirements for information sharing projects.Appraising and reviewing the performance of people and acting as a mentor/coach to facilitate their continued development.Developing and maintaining integrated program/project schedules, including interdependencies.Proactively identifying risks and issues that may impact the delivery of the programs/projects, and escalating in line with the risk management strategy.Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with project team(s) and business stakeholders.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate: High level ability to interpret and apply legislations, especially in relation to Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).A sound understanding of related commercial and administrative law and practice.Proven experience in delivering quality outcomes in a high-pressure environment.Joining QRO you will have opportunities for continued learning, growth, and career development.
