Lloyd's Register is a global engineering consultancy. In Australia, we have a market leading Power Systems Engineering business working on a wide range of projects across the renewable energy sector, including some truly landmark scenarios and fascinating problems.
We are looking for a very organized project manager, able to co-ordinate resources and delivery across multiple low to medium value projects. We have a team of exceptional electrical engineers working on a large number of projects at different stages, with different clients, needs, deliverables and values. In order to improve the co-ordination of the business, we are looking for someone special to come on board and provide structure and organization to our team.
The projects support the connection of new wind, solar and energy storage projects to the grid. We undertake a complex analysis and simulation process to help get more new, clean energy projects into the connection and construction phase.
You would join a close-knit team of exceptional power systems engineers who are delivering on a wide range of projects. This is an opportunity to learn from the best and to forge a career within a great business with plenty of interesting technical scenarios.
The role would suit degree qualified electrical engineers who are able to fully understand the process and implications of delay and the need for clear management of all projects.
-Manage a large number of small to medium sized project through the company's internal systems, liaising with project managers and teams to ensure quality, schedule and deliverables are planned for.
-Support the preparation and issuing of bids to clients, working to clearly define their needs and the cost and timeframe to deliver.
-Liaise with clients to ensure clarity over timeframes, costings and project expectations.
-Assist with contract negotiation, including terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements, and working with internal legal support to ensure full compliance at all times.
-Provide project management and support in managing internal systems and processes, liaising between business management, finance, central service and project managers to ensure smooth management.
-Support business unit director with business finance information, analysis and reporting.
