This business unit is responsible for facilitating and managing essential infrastructure, maintenance, and capital works projects that underpin the University's operations and growth. A key responsibility of this portfolio is the delivery of the University's Campus Development Plan, which is critical to ensuring the campus evolves in line with strategic priorities, supports innovation, and meets the needs of students, staff, and the broader community.The RoleAs a Senior Project Manager within the Campus Development portfolio, the role is crucial in driving these strategic projects from inception to completion. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic oversight to deliver complex, high-value initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing external contractors, ensuring all project stages—from planning, design, and procurement through to construction and commissioning—are executed efficiently.What you'll bring to this rolePostgraduate qualifications and minimum 5 years project management experience, or an equivalent.Sound understanding and application of Australian Standards, building codes of Australia and regulatory compliance requirements to minimise risk and maintain safety.Previous experience and the ability to prepare, manage and work within allocated budgets.Demonstrated ability to apply effective time management to ensure that competing demands for resources and services are met.Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills and experience required for this role.
