They are offering an initial 6-month contract, for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
About the Role As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving key projects within the electricity and gas sectors.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading program governance, overseeing stakeholder reporting, and chairing key program meetings Managing project financials, schedules, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives Engaging with regulatory bodies such as AEMO, AEMC, and NEW to ensure compliance across asset management projects Collaborating closely with business leaders to deliver projects on time and within budget, while realising expected benefits Leading multiple delivery teams, including working with outsourced service providers, to manage complex interdependencies across projects Ensuring quality project delivery within a multi-sourced IT vendor environment, utilising extensive project management methodologies Applying your strong budget, stakeholder, scope, and change management skills to control and track project progress and outcomes About You You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in utilities, energy, or asset management.
You will bring: Proven experience in the electricity or gas sector, particularly within regulatory and governance frameworks Demonstrated expertise in working with business leaders to deliver impactful and successful projects A successful track record in managing financials, reporting, risks, and issues across large, complex projects Experience leading multiple delivery teams, including outsourced vendors, to ensure seamless project execution Strong project control skills, with an ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and navigate project dependencies Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing A recognised project management industry accreditation will be highly regarded This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise within the utilities sector and deliver high-profile projects that drive meaningful change.
