Queensland Bridge & Civil is a Queensland based civil contracting company that has been successful in the delivery of Department of Transport and Main Roads, Council and private enterprise projects in the greater South-East Queensland area for over 25 years. Following recent success and strategic growth, we currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and team-focused Senior Project Manager to join our group. We are seeking an experienced Civil Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, regulations, and safety standards. Budget & Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. Ensure all deliverables are met on time and within the allocated budget. Team Leadership: Manage a project team of engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and field staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success and maintain positive relationships. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and implement effective solutions to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and quality concerns. Quality Assurance: Ensure all project work meets the company's quality standards, safety protocols, and legal requirements. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present progress reports, financial reports, and project documentation to senior management and clients. Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate will possess the following: Have a proven ability in delivering successful projects within the Civil Infrastructure sector. Have 15+ years of recent experience in the delivery of Main Roads and/or Local/Regional Council infrastructure. Have a good working relationship with Main Roads and Councils throughout Queensland. Be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar and be eligible for qualification as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. Have a minimum of 6+ years experience in a similar role within civil construction as a Project Manager. High level of commercial and contractual awareness and familiarity with current standards and specifications. Proficient with planning and programming, cost management, contracts administration, and document control.
