About the role: With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Northern Territory team to work on our various projects based in NT.
Your primary responsibility will be strategically managing projects through effective management of people and processes to deliver the projects on time, within budget and to achieve the desired outcomes aligned with the company's objectives and in compliance with all relevant legislations.
This role is a full-time Permanent opportunity based in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Relocation cost is covered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities: Planning, organising, and directing the completion of projects within a given time frame, budget and scope.Building effective communication and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder management.Effective Project planning – including cost and schedule estimation where required.Undertaking risk analysis and development of project planning artefacts.Understanding commercial processes, including cost control, project reporting, procurement and contract management.Ensuring compliance with customers and company safety, quality and business processes.Ensuring compliance in accordance with contract terms and conditions for the project in alignment with Company policies and procedures.Keeping stakeholders updated through internal and accurate project reporting.About you: To be successful in the role, you will need:
Tertiary engineering qualifications in construction management, project managementPrevious experience of working on Defence projectsConstruction White Card and Current driver's licenseAbility to obtain DCSI and Defence clearanceAbility to pass a Drug and Alcohol and Fit for work assessmentCompetency in Project Management software (e.g., Microsoft Professional Suite, MS Project, Primavera), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Oracle e-business) and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore)Experience in leading, managing and motivating teamsProblem-solving and innovative approach and ability to work under pressureAs an employer who embraces equal opportunity and diversity, we strongly encourage female, Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
